May 16, 2013 · I have an Oasis dryer 110.67062000. Customer complained about it starting and stopping. When I arrived at the customer the machine displayed error code F40. I ran the diagnostic and F40 was the only code. I check the exhaust thermistor and it showed open. So I replaced it with 8577274. The F40 was still there. Aug 24, 2010 · The dryer still gave him the F40 code after he replaced the board. I went out their today and went through the Test 3b and everything checked out. When I try to run diagnostics or the manual load test it goes right into F40 fault. The F40 code is a communication failure between the motor control and the machine control.
